Ride to the End of the World. Literally.

This isn’t your average motorcycle tour.
This is a raw, two-wheeled expedition across the windswept heart of Patagonia — from the wild shores of the Strait of Magellan to the last outpost of Ushuaia, and deep into glacier country.
You’ll ride vintage Royal Enfields through ancient forests, past shipwrecks, penguin colonies, and towering granite spires. Gravel, tarmac, wind, and wonder — it’s all part of the journey.

Thirteen days. One continent’s edge. A thousand stories waiting to be written.

Why we think you will love it!

General Information

1. Epic, Untamed Scenery: Home to jaw-dropping landscapes — towering granite spires like Fitz Roy, massive glaciers like Perito Moreno, endless pampas, turquoise lakes, and volcanic peaks. Patagonia has it all.

2. The Challenge (and the reward): The roads can be rough, the weather unpredictable — but that’s the appeal. It’s a true adventure ride. Conquering the wind of the Patagonian steppe or a muddy stretch near a glacial valley builds stories (and bragging rights) that last a lifetime.

3. The Culture and People: From Argentinian gauchos to Chilean mountain villagers, the people of Patagonia are famously hospitable. You’ll eat world-class steak, sip local wine or mate, and share stories with fellow travelers in cozy refugios. The warmth of the culture is a striking contrast to the rugged environment.

4. Wildlife:

Patagonia is teeming with unique and often elusive wildlife. Spot guanacos, condors, foxes, and even pumas if you're lucky. Discover penguins, sea lions, and perhaps even whales.

Day 1

Arrival in Punta Arenas

Welcome to the edge of the world.
After landing in Punta Arenas, you’ll have time to unwind and wander through this rugged southern town. Don’t miss the main square — and whatever you do, rub the toe of the Indian statue. It’s a local ritual said to bring good luck and ensure your return. Superstition? Maybe. Worth it? Always.

Later, we’ll kick things off properly with a laid-back welcome evening. You’ll get your Wild Tracks Welcome Package — filled with everything you need for the road ahead, a little surprise, and the most important thing of all:
The key to your Royal Enfield Classic 500.

Then it’s time to gather around the table, share some laughs, and dig into some proper southern Chilean food.
Stories will be shared, engines will be introduced, and the adventure begins.

Day 3

The long haul to Rio Grande

Today’s the big one — the longest riding day of the whole tour.
With few places to stop between Punta Arenas and Río Grande, we hit the road early and settle in for a full day in the saddle. But don’t worry — the ride is smooth, the landscapes are epic, and the journey itself is half the reward.

Along the way, we’ll swing by the haunting remains of an abandoned hacienda, pass by one of the many shipwrecks that dot this rugged coastline, and break for a typical Patagonian lunch somewhere remote and real.

By evening, we’ll cross into Argentina and roll into one of the best-loved biker hangouts in all of Tierra del Fuego — a Moto Posada in Río Grande, where riders from all over gather for stories, BBQ, and the kind of ice-cold beer that tastes best after a long ride.

Distance: 424 km
Riding Time: ~6 hours (depending on the border crossing)

Day 5

Shackles and Shellfish, Exploring Ushuaia

Today, we give the bikes a break and explore Ushuaia on foot — the southernmost city on Earth, built not by settlers or fortune seekers, but by convicts.

We’ll dive into that gritty history with a visit to the old Ushuaia Prison, the very reason this town exists. Inside the museum, we’ll step into the cold, narrow cells where inmates served time at the end of the world — and learn the wild story of the prisoners’ train, which we’ll ride ourselves tomorrow, all the way to the real “Fin del Mundo.”

Afterward, we’ll wander the city center and port, take in the mountain views, and soak up the southern edge of civilization.

We’ll close the day gathered around the table for a dinner of fresh King Crab, pulled straight from the icy waters of the Beagle Channel. A perfect end to a day off the saddle.

Day 2

Day trip to Fuerte Bulnes

Time to fire up the engines.

On your first riding day, we keep it light and luggage-free — just you, your Royal Enfield, and the open road. It’s the perfect chance to get a feel for the bike and ease into the rhythm of riding Patagonia.

We’ll head south along the windswept coastline to Fort Bulnes, a historic outpost perched above the legendary Strait of Magellan, just a stone’s throw from Cape Froward — the southernmost tip of the South American mainland.

Originally founded in 1843 and later rebuilt as a museum, Fort Bulnes tells the story of Chile’s bold push into the unknown — fitting, as that’s exactly what we’re about to do ourselves.

The ride is relaxed, the views are wild, and we’ll take time to tweak the bikes, answer questions, and make sure everything feels just right before the real adventure kicks off.

Distance: 150 km

Riding Time: ~3 hours

Day 4

Rio Grande to Ushuaia

Today, the road takes us to the edge of the map.

We ride south through some of Southern Patagonia’s most breathtaking landscapes, with sweeping valleys, jagged peaks, and windswept plains guiding us toward the southernmost city on Earth — Ushuaia.

This stretch marks the final mile before Antarctica — and it shows.

Midway, we’ll stop at the legendary 3005 Motorbike Café & Museum, a sacred spot for two-wheeled explorers. Here, we’ll dive into the stories of the many riders who’ve made this same journey to the end of the world. And yes — you’ll get to sign the guestbook reserved for those bold enough to ride this far.

Before the final push, we’ll fuel up with a classic Patagonian lamb lunch, then ride on into Ushuaia, passing beneath the city’s iconic arches with the wind at our backs and a story few others can tell.

Distance: 212 km
Riding Time: ~4 hours

Day 6

Steam, Saddles & the end of the Road

Today, we swap throttle for tracks — trading our Royal Enfields (just for a few hours) for another timeless machine: a steam-powered locomotive on the Southern Fuegian Railway.

Known as the Train to the End of the World, this heritage ride follows the same route used by the inmates of Ushuaia Prison over a century ago. As we glide through rugged valleys and peat bogs, we’ll dive into the history of Patagonia’s wild frontier — and get a closer look at the flora, fauna, and stories tucked inside Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Once we roll back into the End of the World Station, it’s back to what we do best — two wheels, open road.

We’ll ride through the park’s stunning landscapes, send a postcard from the southernmost post office on the planet, and roll up to the iconic sign marking the very end of Route 3 — a proper milestone for any true motoviajero.

Distance: ~50 km
Riding Time: ~3 hours on the bike + scenic ride by train
Note: Train ticket not included

Day 7

Routa J & the endge of Argentina

Time to ride where the map fades out.

We leave Ushuaia behind and head east along the wild coastline of the Beagle Channel, riding one of Tierra del Fuego’s best-kept secrets: Routa J.

Rarely traveled and mostly off the radar, this stretch is raw, remote, and spectacular — Patagonia at its finest.

The ride is about 160 km, with over 100 km of off-road terrain. But don’t worry — the track is kind, the views are wild, and the journey is the reward.

Halfway through, we’ll pull over at a rustic coastal stop for some fresh seafood empanadas — because even at the end of the world, good food matters.

Eventually, we reach Estancia Harberton, the southernmost point of our ride — and the literal end of Argentina’s roads. Beyond here? Just ocean, wind, and wilderness - and the Antarctica of course!

Distance: 160 km (100 km off-road)
Riding Time: ~6 hours

Day 9

Penguins, Gold Dust & the Forgotten Town of Porvenir

Today we ride deep into Chilean Tierra del Fuego, heading west toward the windswept town of Porvenir — the largest (and only real) settlement on this side of the island.

It’s a 233 km ride, mostly off-road, through wide open landscapes where the silence is broken only by the wind and the hum of our engines.

We’ll make a special stop along the way at Chile’s only Emperor Penguin colony — a rare chance to watch these majestic creatures waddle and fish in their natural habitat. You’ll have time to observe, learn, and take in one of Patagonia’s most unexpected wildlife encounters.

Porvenir itself feels like a place suspended in time. Founded in 1883 during the first wave of gold fever, it was built by immigrants from Croatia and Chiloé, and you can still see the influence in the buildings, culture, and faces of the people.

Today, it’s home to around 4,500 souls — and a few thousand soldiers guarding the edge of the continent.

The town is quiet. The stories are loud. And the ride getting there is nothing short of unforgettable.

Distance: 233 km (mainly off-road)
Riding Time: ~6 hours

Day 11

Fjords, Glaciers & Whiskey on the Rocks

Today, we trade horsepower for tide and take to the water.

We board a Patagonian cruise to explore the region’s wildest corners — a maze of fjords, glaciers, and waterfalls best seen from the sea. The pace is slower, but the scenery? Absolutely next-level.

We’ll land now and then to hike to hidden waterfalls and stare up at towering walls of ancient ice. And when the timing’s right, we’ll gather on deck for something truly special:
A whiskey aperitif served with thousand-year-old glacier ice.
“On the rocks” has never meant more.

As the sun dips low, we’ll land on a remote island where the local community welcomes us with a traditional Patagonian lamb BBQ, grilled slowly over open flame, and paired with rich Chilean red wine.

By the end of the day, you’ll know exactly what Bruce Chatwin meant when he wrote:

“Patagonia is a place that trespasses on the imagination; it eludes conception, refuses to be mastered, and remains a beguiling realm of mystery.”

Day 13

Farewell... or Ride On?

All good rides must come to an end — and today, it’s time to say goodbye.

But for those who just can’t get enough of the open road, here’s the good news:
We offer an optional extension ride to El Calafate & El Chaltén — a separate adventure through Argentina’s stunning glacier country. If that sounds like your kind of send-off, just let us know and we’ll hook you up with the details.

If your journey ends here, you’ve got two options:
📍 Fly out from Puerto Natales
📍 Or return to Punta Arenas by road

Either way, we’ve got your back — we’ll help arrange transfers and make sure your final leg is smooth and easy.

Thanks for riding with us.
Until next time — ride wild.

Day 8

Turning North: Shipwrecks, Salt Air & Open Fires

Having reached the end of the world, there’s only one way left to go: north.

Today, we retrace our tracks — but with a new sense of purpose and perspective. The road feels different in reverse, the wind shifts, and the ride opens up once more.

Our target: the haunting, rusted remains of the M/V El Desdémona — a ghost ship stranded on the shores of the Atlantic. If the tide’s on our side, we’ll be able to walk right up to her — touch the steel bones, snap a few photos, and soak in the eerie beauty of her final resting place.

If the weather plays nice, we’ll call it a day by the sea at a wild little camp spot nearby. We’ll light a fire, grill up some fresh fish from local fishermen, and fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves.
If the skies say otherwise, we’ll head back to the familiar comfort of the Moto Posada in Río Grande — always ready with a bed and a cold beer.

Distance: 183 km (47 km off-road) if camping, 310 km (94 km off-road) if returning to Rio Grande

Riding Time: ~8 hours

Day 10

Across the Strait of Magelan & Into the Heart of Patagonia

We kick off the day by boarding the ferry across the legendary Strait of Magellan — a two-hour voyage that links Tierra del Fuego back to the Chilean mainland. Grab a coffee, watch the waves, and keep your eyes peeled — whales and dolphins are known to make an appearance.

Once we hit land in Punta Arenas, it’s time to ride north. We’ll cruise along Route 9, slicing through the open landscapes of Patagonia. Rolling hills, endless estancias, and that feeling of wide-open space that only this region can deliver.

The road is smooth, the ride is easy, and the day is all about soaking in the scenery.
By evening, we’ll roll into Puerto Natales, gateway to Torres del Paine — and our next chapter of the adventure.

Distance: 247 km
Riding Time: ~5 hours + ferry crossing

Day 12

Torres Del Paine Ride: The Eighth Wonder Awaits

Today we ride into the heart of Patagonia’s crown jewel — Torres del Paine National Park, proudly hailed by Chileans as the eighth wonder of the world.

This loop will take us through towering granite peaks, glacier-fed lakes, and open pampas teeming with guanacos and condors. And of course, we’ll stop for that iconic view of the park’s namesake:
The three horns — the legendary rock formation that makes this place one of the most photographed spots in South America.

We’ll also visit the Mylodon Cave, where the bones of a giant prehistoric beast were once found, adding a dash of mystery to the already surreal landscape.

Throughout the day, we’ll dance between gravel and tarmac, carving through remote valleys and relaxing beside shimmering lakes — the kind of riding that stays with you long after the dust settles.

Distance: 234 km (180 km off-road)
Riding Time: ~6 hours
